Northern Thailand

The North abounds with many natural attractions such as mountain scenery, caves, natural forests, ridges and deep, narrow, alluvial valleys, waterfalls, and lakes. It occupies an approximate area of 170,000 square kilometers. The temperature in mountainous area is cool enough to cultivate temperate vegetation and also allows tourists an alternative to escape the heat of the big city. Its natural appeal makes it a perfect destination for a variety of activities such as adventure namely rafting, trekking or elephant trekking, a peaceful escape with a touch of nature or even sport such as golf or cricket. 

It is also a gateway to the neighboring countries, Laos and Myanmar. The region is also home to a patchwork of hill tribes-the Musers, Yao, Meo, E-kaw, and Karen who each possess their own distinctive culture and way of life. A home to one of the former capital city of Thai Kingdom, the region inherits long-preserved traditions, rich cultures, fascinating architecture, significant historical sites, monuments and temples such as Sukhothai Historical Park, the Doi SuthepShrine in Chiang Mai and the Phra Buddha Chinarat image in Phitsanulok. Unique tribal and regional handicrafts are available for locals and tourists to keep memories of the visit. Thanks to the international airport in Chiang Mai which allows travelling to the region convenient. Central Thailand

Located in a fertile basin where the main activity is rice farming and the area is regarded as the rice bowl of our country. The northern and southern part of the region is abundant thanks to the major Chao Phraya River which is the confluence of Ping, Nan, Yom and Wang rivers flowing from the Northern region. Besides being the kingdom's most fertile land for rice growing, the Central region is also famous for its tourist attractions which focus on natural resources and ancient historic remains from different eras. This area was the establishment of the former capital city of the Kingdom. 

Trips to thick forests, high waterfalls, caves and beaches are easily combined with visits to ancient ruined temples or palaces and historical places. The Eastern part of the region annually attracts hundreds of thousands tourists to the famous beach resorts of the renowned Pattaya and Rayong. The eastern sea coast reaching from Chonburi to Trat is not only rich in archaeology and history, it is also one of the most attractive seaside destinations. A quieter side, the Southern coast has also become more and more popular. Nature has endowed the area with waterfalls and mountains, beaches, islands and man has added facilities and conveniences to make this a truly beautiful and enjoyable destination. Not to mention, the capital city, Bangkok, so called the city of angel, has drawn attention of those who seek urban retreat, shopping spree as well as significant temples and palaces.

Southern Thailand


Southern Thailand is located on the peninsula embraced by the Andaman Sea of the Indian Ocean to the West and the Gulf of Thailand to the East. The region has a kaleidoscope of spectacular sceneries including the world’s famous white sandy beaches and beautiful islands on both sides of the peninsula. There are also national parks, wildlife sanctuaries, mountains, waterfalls and historical sites. The landmarks of the region are not limited only on the mainland, the underwater world offers prolific marine life and stunning underwater landscape. The region’s unique cultures and traditions also make this region a charming destination.

Northeast Thailand

Northeast Thailand [ภาคอีสาน] is often referred to Isan. It is made up of 20 provinces. It has population of 21,328,111. It has a very unique characteristic of geography, food, culture as well as traditions which have been well inherited until present. It also has the sites of ancient civilisation such as at Ban Chiang village. The economy of the region relies on the agricultural products such as rice. Isan may come across as a dry land with scorching heat but that could be something trivial as it also has abundant of stunning natural attractions and colourful way of life. People are convivial and offer warm hospitality to guests who visit their land. It has great facilities to welcome tourists including a wide range of accommodation from small guesthouses to 5-star hotels as well as tourist activities.
